High School HECTOR of the Month for August!

JH HECTOR of the Month for August!

Mrs. Lockhart, the Junior High and High School Comprehensive Health Educator, has completed a course on BOTVIN Life Skills with an emphasis on Drug Prevention. This training was supported by the Bent County Extension Office and the Tri-County Communities that Care through Otero County. We are proud of Mrs. Lockhart's commitment to learning for the benefit of the student's future health outcomes. Be sure and give Mrs. Lockhart a big thank you when you see her. This curriculum was selected through research funded by the Colorado Trust Grant for Substance Abuse Prevention and Intervention Program, managed by Mrs. Bucholz, the Health and Wellness Coordinator and Health Grant writer. Parents and Community can join us in our drug prevention measures during the Red Ribbon Week of October 23rd to October 26th during a few special activities. Watch for future announcements as to the dates and times of these special drug prevention Red Ribbon Week engagement activities.
