Mrs. Torrez's class partnered up with Bent County Extension Office to help find recipes that are affordable and are easy to make. They were given a list of commodities that someone will typically get at the food pantry along with items that are staples in most households. From these lists, they researched recipes that would best fit these lists. They are selling the recipe books for $10. With the money made from the books, they will be donating the money to the food pantry. Please see the flyer attached for further details.
