Please join at our STATE GOLF SEND-OFF! 💙💙💙💙💙
State Golf will be leaving at 7:00 am on Sunday. The plans are to meet at the golf course, the fire department and the Sheriff's department will be there to escort the team out of town. This is very exciting for LAHS - since they qualified three golfers, they also qualify to compete as a team. #TrojanPride #LAAllTheWay

LASD Staff Spotlight:

Robert Mitchell, Ph.D. (Ph.D. Coordinator for Educational Leadership, Research, and Policy for the College of Education at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs) brought representatives of the Public Education and Business Coalition (https://www.pebc.org) to visit a few schools in southeast Colorado for a quick peak to better understand education in the rural plains. The group stopped by to learn more about Las Animas Elementary School and for a quick tour from students Luke LaBarge and Sloane Lockhart.
