If you are interested in renewing your membership or joining the Trojan Alumni Association at Las Animas High School please fill out the membership form and send it in or drop it by the High School Office. Homecoming is around the corner and a membership will grant the alumni member free entry to the High School Volleyball and High School Football homecoming games. You will need to have a membership card for this perk.

⛳️👏. Today the Trojans competed in the Meloneer Invitational in Rocky Ford. There were 16 teams and the Trojans took first place with a score of 264. There were 60 golfers total.
DAMIEN BACA HAD ANOTHER 3-PEAT by taking first place overall! Individual results:
Damien Baca - 75 (1st place)
Cody Netherton - 92 (5th place)
Matthew Dowell - 97 (14th place)
Kree Wallace - 101 (19th place)
Zaquery Cahill - 131 (51st place)

Jr. High School August HECTOR of the Month Students - Congratulations! 👏👏

There will be an FFA Meeting tonight at 7:00 pm

The Trojans played in two different tournaments at Hollydot Golf Course in Rye. The first tournament was the Thunderbolt Invitational on 9/25. This tournament had 65 golfers and 29 teams. This Trojans had to battle tough competition and even tougher weather. As a team, the Trojans placed 9th. Individual results:
Damien Baca - 74 (3rd place)
Kree Wallace - 97 (45th place)
Cody Netherton - 100 (51st place)
Matthew Dowell - 105 (tied 59th)
The second tournament in Rye was the Santa Fe League tournament on 9/10. The weather was much better for this tournament. The Trojans struggled off and on throughout this tournament, but didn’t give up and finished strong.
Damien Baca won this tournament, making him a
3x Santa Fe League Champion!
There are 8 teams in the league and the Trojans placed 4th. This tournament included 30 golfers. Individual results:
Damien Baca - 73 (1st place)
Cody Netherton - 92 (tied for 10th place)
Matthew Dowell - 99 (17th place)
Keee Wallace - 101 (20th place)

Saturday's Jr. High VB Tournament Info in Lamar:
9am - Lamar vs Las Animas
10am - Trinidad vs La Junta
11am - Loser Game #1 vs Loser Game #2
12pm - Winner Game #1 vs Winner Game #2
The A teams will play at the Community Building and the B teams will play at the middle school. We will keep the same schedule in both gyms and do our best to stay on schedule. We will have concession stands in both gyms. Admission is $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students and senior citizens. CHSAA passes will also be accepted if presented. Coaches and bus drivers are considered part of the team. One gate admission gets into either gym.
