Both the high school accounting and personal finance classes took a field trip to First National Bank of Las Animas where Jaxon Meardon gave them a closer look at loan applications, processing loans, credit reports, tax documents and check registers. They heard first hand from a personal banker the importance of saving money and sticking to a budget.
