Colorado State Patrol Trooper Scott Pointon met with all the Jr. High students this morning to talk about alcohol and drug awareness.
November is National American Indian Heritage Month - to celebrate Mr. Dennis Montoya, JH Science Teacher and James Linenberger, 7th grade JH student and Koshare Dancer performed at the JH/HS Celebration Assembly last week. In addition to their dancing, they also shared the history behind their costumes and talked about Native American Culture.
JH/HS HECTOR of the Week:
Staff: Austin Coy he is doing a great job with the kids and implementing the new 180 program and engaging with students in a new outlet.
JH - Tristan Carter -Tristan is a hard-worker and very respectful to his teachers. He takes pride in his work. He has a great sense of humor. He is a great example of HECTOR all around school.
HS - Jadann Eck- Jadann has been amazing on and off the court, she comes to class ready and focused to get to work. She is always HECTOR and it shows every day at school.

High School Wrestling Parent meeting this Thursday @ 5:30 p.m. in the War Room.
Reminder: Tomorrow night there will be a High School Basketball Parent's Meeting: November 6th Parent Meeting for HS Basketball Players & Parents for both Boys and Girls programs 5:45 pm in the gym. We will start as a whole group to go over rule changes and procedure & discuss fan/team conduct with officials. Then break apart for each program's expectations.
Mrs. Lockhart’s Food Science Classes catered the NHS lunch for the members and their families after the ceremony on Wednesday. They did an amazing job, it looked great! 👏
