January JH/HS Staff HECTOR of the Month:
Cody Hines-My HECTOR of the month takes his role very seriously and has stepped up this year with the No Excuses attitude. His leadership is leading to change in the classroom and we are excited to see the results at the end of the spring. Mr. Hines displays HECTOR in his interaction with students each morning and staff during the work day. Keep up the good work and keep the attitude of No EXCUSES for the remainder of the year.
Ms. Tillie Gallegos - She always shows up to school with a smile. She is always optimistic and her mindset is positive as well. She not only helps students in need but helps the day go by fast because she is enjoyable to be around. Thank you Ms. Tillie for everything we love you.
Mr. Gallegos - We are nominating him for HECTOR of the Month because he is excellently working with students to complete events ahead of FBLA districts. Thank for Mr. Gallegos for your dedication.
Mr. Lindauer - For the month of January I would like to nominate Coach Lindauer as my HECTOR of the month. Excellence, Coach Lindauer has been a mentor to me for the last 16 years, and I have learned so much about life and coaching from him. He shows up everyday with positive energy, and Optimism, toward our students and community, and I enjoy our Honest conversations about whatever the topic may be. In the shop, students are always busy creating their projects, and Mr. Lindauer displays Tolerance with all of the different ideas going on at one time. He is one of a kind! HECTOR of the Week
Staff - Ms.Tillie Gallegos - She always has a smile and a kind word for everyone and has a good repor with both students and staff. She is always willing to help and fill in wherever needed. Her smile and positive attitude are contagious and you can't help but be in a good mood when she is around! Ms. Tillie is a great influence to our students and our school is lucky to have her. She shows Hector every day by being tolerant, respectful and excellent.

He always has a positive attitude and a great sense of humor. We are proud of John and the way he shows HECTOR in our school.
HS - Orion Martinez is our choice for hector of the week because he is on task even when others are not. We feel that he truly cares about his schoolwork. He is always optimistic and never fails to demonstrate HECTOR.

Athlete of the Week
Varsity- Roree Willbanks has been working hard this year to be competitive and it showed the last two games vs Limon & Swink. She consistently hustles on defense and stops some of the opponents best players. Offensively, she runs the floor to help our transition game. We are excited for what's to come from her.
JV - Izabell Trujillo
Varsity - Kree Wallace - he has played extremely hard all year. He is top 3 in several statistical categories and even when he’s not providing scoring he is producing in other ways.
JV - Deon had worked hard all year and provides a ton of energy on the defensive side of the ball. Recently he has started being more aggressive offensively as well.
