JH/HS Announcements for 1/27:

HECTOR of the Week
JH - Joseph Garcia-Joseph has shown a great deal of respect in the junior high. He comes to class prepared and ready to learn. He takes pride in his class work. He is a great helper to his teachers. We are very proud of how Joseph displays HECTOR around our school.
HS - Dustin Clark - Dustin is a very polite student who has a penchant for finishing his work on time. We can always count on him to work with others and be helpful. He is polite and always willing to show what it means to be HECTOR.

Athletes of the week
Varsity - Tayton Coulter. He recorded a double-double in a tough loss against Holly and looked to score and set teammates up against Walsenburg.
JV - Corbin Turner. In the three JV games over the weekend played well and averaged close to double-digits.
Varsity against Holly & Walsenburg- Emma Netherton stepped up to have two monster games this past weekend. She earned a double-double vs Holly with 12 points and 10 RBs. During the Walsenburg game, Emma filled a different role, practicing her full court defense to help prepare for the rest of the season.
Ava LaBarge was selected for two strong games the past week. Against RF she worked through their pressure, while against SCA she improved her attack skills. She leads the team in assists and is the second best rebounder. Her leadership and intensity help the Trojans when we need it the most.
