Important Schedule Changes:
1. Junior high football scrimmage will be cancelled this week.
2. High School Volleyball - Sierra Grande will be moved from Oct. 21st to Oct 22nd at 11:00 am at Sierra Grande.
3. Rocky Ford and Holly volleyball games will have C-teams.
4. High School Golf - Rocky Ford Tournament will be play at La Junta's course on September 7th at 9:00 am. The Monte Vista Tournament has been switched to La Junta's Tournament on Sept. 9th at 9:00 am. Rye's Tournament will be Monday Sept. 12th at 9:00 am, and the SFL tournament will be Wednesday Sept. 14th at 9:00 am in Rye.
Today's HS Volleyball game in McClave will start at 5:00 pm instead of 4:30 p.m

LAHS Volleyball Schedule Update: the high school volleyball games against Rocky Ford have been "flipped" August 25th will be at Las Animas and October 20 will be played at Rocky Ford.
Today the golfers participated in the Trojan Invitational. As a team, the Trojans placed 2nd. Individually, all players did well and continue to improve. Damien took first place overall, shooting a 71. The remaining Varsity players and scores: Jack 90, Kree 105, and Dayton 109. Additional Trojans and scores: TJ 103, Denton 105, Zaquery 123, Brooke 126, Matthew 128, Kevin 130, Espi 136 and Daniel 136

HS Golf Update:⛳️ The Grizzlies Invitational was great! Damien took 2nd, shooting a 77, Jackson took 24th carding a 99, Dayton shot 114 taking 43rd, Kree shooting a 117 with a 47th place finish. The Trojans will host a tournament on Saturday August 13th. #TrojanPride #LaAllTheWay

The Trojan Booster Club re-organized and re-energized in the Fall of 2021. This past year, we hosted team parties in each sports season for our JH and HS athletes, sponsored t-shirts for state qualifiers in wrestling and track, and provided financial support for the girls basketball team and volleyball team to attend team camps this summer.
We want to continue to engage more partners, grow our membership and expand ways to support our student athletes. Our next meeting is on Monday, August 8th at 6 pm at LAES and we would love to hear from you.
