High School Volleyball vs Holly on Tuesday, Aug. 30 is ⛳️“Golf Theme Night” to support our LAHS Golf Team! JH & HS students dress like a golf player and get into the game FREE! 👏
⛳️ Yesterday the Trojans competed in the Eads Invitational. The tournament was scored in a stableford format. Damien finished with 16 points shooting a 75 , winning first place overall. TJ finished with 2 points shooting a 90. He took 5th place. Jackson and Kree both shot 97s with -7 points. Taking 7th and 8th respectively. The Trojans, as a team, placed 1st place with a combined score of 262!! Go Trojans!
LA-BC Library launches “Little Free Libraries!” The launch & dedication of the LFL will be at the Las Animas Elementary Open House on Wednesday, August 31st
Booster Club is set up at the volleyball game tonight - they have hats for sale and doing the 50/50 drawing! Be sure and stop by and see them when you come in.
Thursday (8/25) is the deadline for pre-registration. Walk ups are welcome but may not receive a camp t-shirt. All 3rd - 8th graders are welcome to attend.
⛳️ Today the Trojans participated in the Centennial Invitational at Walking Stick in Pueblo. Damien shot a 74 with a tie for 3rd. This was his personal best on an 18 hole course. While being a predominantly 4A field, Damien was the only 3A player in the top 15. TJ shot a 93 taking 35th place. Also setting a personal best on an 18 hole course. Jackson shot a 113 taking 57th. While it might have been a rough day for him, he looks to improve his score in Eads on Friday. At his first varsity tournament, Denton shot a 127 taking 60th. He looks to improve his game and to beat his score. The Trojans as a team took 11th out of 15 teams. Tomorrow the golf team will be at LAHS to support the Lady Trojans. GO TROJANS!!!

The first Friday school will be September 9th in the library from 8-12 for the Junior High & High School students.
Junior High & High School Parents: just a reminder that student drop off for all JH and HS students is in front of the high school not on 2nd street at the jr high. This keeps the flow of traffic and students away from bus drop off. Thanks for your help.
