HS Boys Basketball Players: Monday’s Game in Lamar: Schedule JV/C-team game in Lamar @ 4:30pm. Bus leaves school at 2:45pm. The following boys basketball players will be traveling. Bring your blue jerseys and shooting shirts for the game. Please wear your blue polo and slacks to school. LAES Hot Topics Jan. 26:
All of high school basketball games on Saturday will be played in the high school gym. We will start with Girls JV at 12:00 (8 minute quarters), Boys JV (8 minute quarters), Girls Varsity, Winter Sports Royalty, and finish with Boys Varsity.
The Calhan game will be rescheduled on February 6th in Calhan at 5:00pm. This will be varsity only due to travel on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Varsity Girls will play at 5:00 pm and Varsity Boys will play at 6:30 pm
Las Animas Senior Wrestler, Gabe Tapia, was recognized tonight before the wrestling quad started.
Come support our High School Wrestlers at their Winter Sports Quad tonight starting @ 5:00 pm. Any Jr/Sr High School student wearing Blue and White will get in FREE. JH - Bree Tyler-She has been very coachable in class. She asks questions when she needs to. She works very hard in class and has a great attitude.
