LAES AR Lock-In Info:
On the afternoon of April 20th at the Las Animas High School: Colorado State Patrol, along with our sheriff’s department, fire department, UC Health Life Line and other community first responders, will be hosting a “Mock DUI Drama” for high school students.
The DUI drama is reality based with a primary focus on high school aged drivers. The crash scene will consist of a simulated crash vehicle, actors portraying injured students, fire department, Colorado State Patrol, ambulance personnel, and UC Health Lifeline helicopter.
The ultimate goal of this DUI drama is to save lives through education and reality-based learning.
Post Prom: students must have both waivers signed and returned to participate:

SFTD Square Dance practice will NOT be on Sunday, April 16 - we will practice on Thursday, April 20 @ 6:30 p.m. or right after practices end.
The HS Swink Baseball game has been cancelled - it will be rescheduled to Monday @ 2:00 p.m.
Reminder: Jump Start Universal Preschool (UPK) Enrollment for 2023-2024 School Year is April 27th from 8 am - 4 pm at Las Animas Elementary School!
HS Baseball Game @ Swink tomorrow (Saturday 4/15) will start at 11:00 a.m. to allow time to work on the field after rain. Bus will leave at 9:15 a.m. from the field

Staff - Mr. Armstrong. Dave is an amazing neighbor to have. Always has a positive attitude and always willing to help everyone, especially me when I need his advice. Thank you Dave for being you!
JH - Mckinzie Gonzales-She is such a hard worker and is super tolerant of any kind of changes. She is really polite. She is a self starter and accountable for her work.
HS - Emma Russell is respectful and tries to learn everything you have to offer everyday
