JH Volleyball Schedule Update: Tuesday, Sept. 5th game will be played at Walsenburg - 4:30 p.m.
Thursday night’s volleyball game is a white out and all high school fall sport athletes who present their athletic pass will get in free (they must present their pass at the door in order to get in FREE-athletes will get their passes during breakfast on Thursday)
JH & HS VB vs Swink tomorrow - JH starts at 3:30 p.m followed by HS. #GoTrojans
Las Animas Jr. High Pure Gold Members are very excited to continue running the "Bethany's Birthday in a Bag" project! The birthday bags will be funneled out to kids in need through local non-profits like CASA, Associated Charities, and through the school districts. This project was originally started in Swink by Bethany Taullie. Pure Gold Members will be set up at the home volleyball games this Thursday and at the football and volleyball Homecoming Games on Oct. 5th & 6th. Contact Susan Waring at LASD if you have any questions.

HECTOR of the Week: JH - Armondo Varela -He has picked up right where he left off last year. He is very respectful and positive all the time.
HS - Analyce Wilson for HECTOR of the week. When she was gone this week, she took the initiative to take her STAR
test on her own during some down time and scored very well. Her honesty, respect, and optimism are greatly
appreciated!
Staff - Cody Hines. Mr. Hines worked hard over the summer to make sure teachers would be prepared to start off the
school year strong, and preparing athletics for our student athletes. Thank you for all you do Mr. Hines!
Last call for PRIDE Shirts and Hoodies for LAES. Last day to order is this Thursday. They need to be paid for at the time of order. Bring them to the LAES office.
