The HS Football game tonight vs. Calhan has a rain delay for tonight and they will resume the game tomorrow (Saturday, 8/26) @ 10 a.m. #GoTrojans


HS kids come to First Presbyterian Church after home football and volleyball games (on Thursdays or Fridays - not school nights) for free snacks and games until 11:00 pm. It is a safe alcohol free environment for anyone that wants to try it.

⛳🏌️ Last Thursday and Friday , The Trojan JV and Varsity Golf competed in back to back tournaments. Varsity competed in the Canyon City Boys Golf Invitational @4 Mile Ranch. It was a great day and a blast to see some good golf on a tough track. The scores and placements are as follows, Damien Baca 73, 4th. TJ Ortiz, 94, 44th. Kree Wallace 97, 55th. Cordell Reisch 108, 72nd. As a team the boys took 10th out of 22 teams. The next day Varsity competed in the Alamosa Invitational which happens to be where regionals is going to be held. The scores and placements are as follows. Damien Baca 76, 1st. TJ Ortiz 86, 13th(!). Kree Wallace 111, 52nd. Cordell Reisch, 116, 55th. Pace Wallace 120, 57th. As a team, they took 7th out of 14 teams. For the back to back tournaments the boys are starting to show great improvement on full 18-hole courses. Damien Baca’s round in Alamosa made him 1st in the region!! Congratulations to him on a huge accomplishment!
The JV team competed in La Junta and Cheyenne Wells. In La Junta it was a team scramble. As a team ( Cody Netherton, Kevin Nevland, Matthew Dowell, Zaquery Cahill) the boys tied for third place, shooting a 38! The JV squad enjoyed a different format. Cheyenne Wells was in a normal stroke play format. The score and placements are as follows. Cody Netherton 91 6th. Kevin Nevland 108 14th. Matthew Dowell 110 20th. Zaquery Cahill 122 25th. As a team the boys took fourth! It was a very fun two days for both teams. A lot of growth is showing!
