HECTOR of the Week
JH - Esias Barrios. Esias has been improving in all facets of school and sports. He has been getting faster in track and represents his school at track meets. He has matured into a respectful and coachable individual."
HS - Matthew Dowell comes in to class with a positive attitude each day. He is easy going, good natured, good hearted. His demeanor leads to an optimistic view on any task he puts before him. All year Matthew has been coachable in athletics and in the classroom and his embodiment of HECTOR is outstanding.
Staff - Ms. Waring is always beyond helpful, but especially these last few months. She manages to make it to all of LASD’s events so we all get a chance to see the amazing things happening across the district. We’re all lucky to have her and her iPad!

“Ms. Waring is always there when we need her. Between taking pictures for the school district, running Pure Gold, and helping organize the square dancing chaos. She always shows up and supports the students. Thank you for 25 years of dedication to the school and the students of Las Animas”
