Athlete of the Week for Cross Country is Layf Skadberg. Layf went to Pueblo on Friday and managed to get a school record with a time of 19:29.80. It's great to have him healthy and back to competing! Keep it up Layf!
Athlete of the Week for Football is Logan Servaes. During the Springfield game Logan changed the tempo of the game which at the time was back and forth between Las Animas and Springfield. Logan made an interception for 75 yards and a touchdown that night allowing the Trojans to gain the lead and come out on top with a victory over Springfield, 56-14.
