High School Students: Remember to have your inflatable waiver signed and turned in by April 11. If you are bringing a guest they will need one too. * if you are under 18, a parent has to sign your waiver




Last day to order your 90th SFTD shirts is: Wednesday, April 3rd. See any SFTD committee members or you can order from the HS office




Athlete of the week for Track and Field is Emma Russell. Emma locked in high jump this week and cleared her opening height and nearly cleared the next height. She also PRed in long jump and was a member of the 4x200 team that took 8 seconds off of their previous time. Keep working hard, Emma!
HS Baseball:
Varsity - Orion Martinez - Orion had a great weekend. He made some amazing plays in center field to help the Trojans win both games vs. Cheyenne Wells and Holly. Orion was on the bases a lot and put pressure on the opposing pitchers.
Jadann Eck - Jadann scored 8 runs for the Trojans and is an exciting addition on the bases. She makes the opposing teams work harder when she is running. Jadann also pitched 2 solid innings against Cheyenne Wells


Kindergarten Round-up will be held on Thursday, April 25th. If your child plans to enroll, please contact Mrs. Michele Mora at LAES to schedule an appointment. 719-456-1862


Post Prom meeting April 3 at 5:30 pm in the elementary school library. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend!

High School Baseball Update: Tuesday's game @ Custer County has been cancelled. We have rescheduled it for April 16th at 4:30. Varsity only game.

Varsity Baseball -
Tj Ortiz vs Wiley - TJ had a great game at the plate going 2 for 3 with an RBI. He also pitched 2 scoreless innings in a 5 to 1 win.
Damien Baca vs Centauri - Damien pitched 6 shutout innings with 12 strikeouts in a 7-1 win.
Braydon Ortiz vs. Ellicott - Braydon pitched a complete game in his first varsity start. He struck out 15 in a 10-0 win.
Kree Wallace vs. Peyton - Kree was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s and a stolen base in the championship game of the LA Invite.
JV Baseball-
Jesus Lopez vs Wiley - Jesus hit a 3 RBI triple to help the Trojans win 13-3. He also pitched 2 innings.
The Athlete of the Week for Track and Field is Lilly Lane. Lilly has been coachable and showing tremendous growth as an athlete on the track and in the throwing rings. She has become more comfortable with her implements in her elements and that is showing as she PRed by nearly 4 feet in shot out this week. Keep up the great work, Lilly!
