This week the Trojans played at Regionals in Cortez. The results are as follows, Damien 12th. Making him a 2x State Qualifier. Jackson 52nd. TJ wasn’t able to finish the day due to rules confusion. Kree 44th. State Golf will be held at Pinehurst Country Club in Denver, October 3rd - 4th. Go Trojans!

Area high school students who are new to FFA had a chance to find out more about what the organization has to offer at the annual BIG (Being Involved as a Greenhand) FFA conference held at Lamar Community College today. Las Animas FFA Freshmen and sponsors attended.

Monday's dress up day for ALL students/staff is "Seasoned Day", so dress elderly.
Yesterday the Trojans competed at the Santa Fe League tournament in Rye. The results are as follows, Damien, 2nd(scorecard playoff) 80. TJ 4th, 85. Jackson 15th, 101. Kree 17th, 105. The Trojans took 3rd place as a team, with a combined score of 266. The Trojans will next compete in Cortez for regionals.
