Yesterday the Trojans competed at the Santa Fe League tournament in Rye. The results are as follows, Damien, 2nd(scorecard playoff) 80. TJ 4th, 85. Jackson 15th, 101. Kree 17th, 105. The Trojans took 3rd place as a team, with a combined score of 266. The Trojans will next compete in Cortez for regionals.

JH & HS conducted a school-wide practice lockdown drill on Wednesday, Sept. 14:
From Transportation Director at Las Animas School District, Greg Bullock: Due to a shortage of drivers, it is necessary to cancel in town bus service for bus #1 and bus #2 afternoon routes. Please make arrangements to pick up your students at parent pick up. Today should be the only day affected by this cancellation but we will keep you informed as things developed. Thank you for your cooperation.
