LASD will not have school on Thursday due to extreme cold weather and wind chill conditions. The windchill factor is anticipated to be 30 below zero for most of the day. Early Learning Center Daycare at the elementary will also be closed on Thursday but are planning to open on Friday as of now. Please be aware of frostbite conditions due to exposure. Attached is the National Weather Service wind chill chart for your review.
High School Parents/Families: high school will follow their regular bell schedule on Wednesday. High school students who are exempt from their semester test in any class do not need to report for that hour. Students have access to the exempt list.
