Happy Staff Appreciation LASD! At the EOY lunch & awards, each staff member received an "adventure bag" The previous month, each staff member was given the opportunity to pick an outside adventure; such as swimming pool passes, Pueblo Zoo passes, Cave of the Winds tickets or Royal Gorge Tickets. Along with their tickets they also got to pick a beach blanket, suntan lotion, first aid kit, and bug spray....everything they need for an adventure outside this summer! #LAAllTheWay
2nd graders were hard at work making candy for their parent night onThursday. While making candy, Ms. Vida taught them about the states of matter and how water can go from a solid to a liquid to a gas. They are excited to share everything they have learned with their families. LASD End of Year Lunch & Celebration was held on May 5th. Each year, staff members are awarded years of service pins when they reach 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, etc..

Last week the Lady Trojans competed in the Alamosa Invite. The girls showed MASSIVE improvement and shattered personal records on a very challenging golf course. Before the scores, the golf team wants to send a huge thank you to Connie Childers and her husband for allowing us to stay in their home before the tournament. The scores are as follows, Emma Netherton, 13th- 104. 23 strokes better than her first tournament!
Mya Marfil & Chanel LaBarge 111 26th and 27th. Mya shaved 30 shots off of her first tournament!! Chanel was able to improve by 26 strokes since her first!! Alayna Bona 128 40th. Alayna has taken off 15 strokes since her first tournament! The girls are improving quickly as we near the end of the season. They look to go low at the Rye Invite on Friday. GO BIG BLUE!
