Book Fair opens on Friday **remember every Kindergarten - 6th grader who attends Literacy Night on Thursday gets a $10 coupon to spend that night at the book fair!

8th Graders were the February BIG A winners! They had the highest attendance percentage in the district for February.


FBLA State Send-Off was held today - they will leave early Wednesday morning. Good luck FBLA State Qualifiers!

HS Baseball Update: Peyton is expected to get 6-8 inches of snow Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and the temperatures aren't suppose to get above 30 degrees. We are going to move our JV games to Wednesday April 19th at 3:00 pm in Peyton.


HECTOR of Week
Staff - Rebecca Pena. She comes to work prepared to have an impact on students. She always has a positive attitude. It's been a pleasure to work with her.
JH - Jerome Ethridge- He is always so coachable and makes people laugh. He is great in class.
HS - Gabe Tapia- always optimistic with others and in class. He is very coachable and Tolerant of his peers and always greets others. He is pure reason to be HECTOR.


Today's HS Baseball games @ DHPH (V,JV) (@ Runyon) are cancelled (forfeit) because DHPH does not have enough players. We will practice at 4:00.

Athlete of the Week
Jackson O’Connor - Jackson has done a great job this year. He threw out 3 base runners against Custer County and hit well this week. He was voted as a Captain and his leadership is contagious. --
Girls Track: Analyce Wilson worked hard in practice this week and transferred that growth to the meet on Saturday in Limon. Analyce PRed in the 400 by 3 seconds. Great work!
Boys Track: Dayton Morlan PRed in the 200m Dash by .05 second and qualified for finals at the meet in Limon. He took third overall. Dayton was able to extend his stride and run closer to the ground to improve his time. He is shaping up to have a great meet when we can dodge the wind. Great work Dayton. Please come to the office to take your picture
