Athlete of Week - HS Basketball
TJ Ortiz (pictured seperate) - TJ has been a leader on and off the court this season and had a double-double in all 3 of our games last week, keep it up!
Nicholas Duran - Nicholas looks for his shot, and shoots with confidence. Keep working hard Nich.
Varsity- Emma Netherton had a strong showing at the Breaking Blue tournament, earning her MVP as voted by the other coach. She is leading the team in RB and steals. She continues to be a force inside and continues to work on her outside shot.
JV - Reima Alvidrez - She is stepping up and playing positions that she doesn’t normally play. She is very attentive when learning and asks great questions. She played hard against DHPH and had a great attitude during the busy week. Good job Reima.
HS Wrestling: Orion Martinez.
Orion has shown a lot of commitment and discipline this season. At the Rob Mickel Invitational,
he earned a 1st place finish with a win over the #5 wrestler in the State.
