Athlete's of the Week: JV - Caleb Wagner was very efficient last week on JV, and was a strong presence grabbing rebounds and protecting the rim on defense. Keep it up Caleb. Varsity - Cordell Reisch had a good game against Trinidad where he helped the team get onto a strong start on defense with a block in the first ten seconds taking away a fast break layup. Keep it up Cordell.

Recipe books are made. If you would like, you can just stop and grab one! Mrs. Torrez's 5th grade class class partnered up with Bent County Extension Office to help find recipes that are affordable and are easy to make. They were given a list of commodities that someone will typically get at the food pantry along with items that are staples in most households. From these lists, they researched recipes that would best fit these lists. They are selling the recipe books for $10. With the money made from the books, they will be donating the money to the food pantry. Please see the flyer attached for further details. Also, keep in mind orders can only be taken Monday-Thursday from 7:45 am to 4:00 pm. @ the elementary school: 719-456-1862
