Conan Tyler vs. Swink - Welcome back Conan Tyler!!! Conan was cleared to return to action this week, and he did so
with a bang. Conan collected 4 hits in 7 at bats driving in 5 runs. He started our rally in the 5th inning of our 11-5 win vs.
Swink.
The Athlete of the Week for Trojan Track and Field is Kevin Nevland. Kevin has worked hard to improve in all of his
events. That hard work paid off this week as he PRed in both the 100 and 200 just missing out on placing in League.
Kevin continues to improve his attitude and as that improves so does his performance. Keep it up, Kevin.
Last week, JumpStart Early Learning Center ended week of the young child with rock painting & a movie.
(4/12) The Lady Trojans competed in the Swink Invitational in La Junta. The results are as follows, Emma Netherton 14th (98!!!) Chanel LaBarge 26th (112) Mya Marfil 32nd (116) Jesslyn Hogue 42nd (123). Overall the girls played great. Improvement is already showing!
HECTOR of the WeekStaff - Jenn Pointon: Ms. Pointon has done a wonderful job stepping in for 7th Grade ELA for the quarter and steps in to complete tasks without being prompted. We all appreciate the guidance she provides all of our students and the support she provides to all of our staff. She is a pretty awesome Assistant Track Coach too. Thank you Ms. Pointon
JH - Mayela Magana is an amazing student. She comes to class everyday ready and willing to learn what we have for that day. She is a leader among her peers.
HS - Jesus Aguilar - Castro - Has been honest, respectful, and an emerging leader. He is completing his tasks and following through with what is asked of him. He steps up when beckoned.
