JH/HS Announcements for 4/29

4/23)The Lady Trojans competed in the Grizzly Invitational in Fowler. The girls played well and there’s a lot of improvement. The results are as follows. Roree Willbanks 115 23rd, Ava LaBarge 129 46th, Mia Quintana 134 60th, Maddison Huffman 136 63rd.

⚾️ Our high school Trojan varsity baseball team is having a great season and will be playoff bound in a couple of weeks. The Booster Club is sponsoring t-shirts for all of the athletes and coaches.
In order to spread the Trojan spirit, we are offering these shirts to our families, staff and fan base for $20. In addition, hoodies may be purchased for $30.

High School Baseball vs Rye will be played on May 8 at 2 pm in Rye

High School Baseball and High School Track has been cancelled today………..watch for information on reschedule dates.

Shout out to all the SFTD Square Dancers! These kids worked hard for months to put on a great show yesterday - they couldn’t have done it without Cody Allen. We appreciate his hard work and dedication every year to make this possible. 👍







Joe Fausto was named “Citizen of the Year” by the Las Animas High School Santa Fe Trail Day Committee. The Frausto family accepted the award to a standing ovation from the crowd. ❤️❤️

JH enjoyed the parade yesterday morning, followed by their tour of Boggsville in the afternoon. A big thanks to Anita Pointon for giving the tour!

Sophomore Families: Please remember to encourage your students to sell the rest of their Ranchburger tickets this evening and tomorrow during the parade. Also, remember each student is responsible for 2 bags of potato chips and a dessert to aid in Ranchburger tomorrow. Thank you!

High School Spring Senior Recognition (Baseball, Girls Golf, ESports): Friday, May 3 - before the baseball game (*there are no senior track members this year)

Happy Trails! Just a reminder.......The Community Costume Contest is at 8 am in the cafeteria, the parade (regular parade route) is at 10 am, Ranchburger (come support the Sophomore Class!) is from 11 -1, King/Queen Interviews (open to the public) is 12 -1 then the square dancing/awards, crowing of King/queen is at 2 pm. See you tomorrow!
