He is also a supportive and gifted mentor to me and is always available for questions, advice and encouragement

Athlete of the week for Track and Field is Darian Mondragon. Darian broke 60 seconds in the 400 for the first time in his track career. In fact, he ran so fast he lost spikes out of his shoes AND lost his lunch after the race. Despite all of this, he still competed strongly in the 800 and 200 after the 400 and represented the Trojans wonderfully in all of his races.
Athlete of the Week for Baseball
Varsity
Brander Nichols - Brander had a great weekend vs. Fowler. He made difficult catches in the outfield and played the wind well. He also had a good day at the plate hitting two doubles and stealing two bases.
Cordell Reisch - Cordell has been solid at first base for the Trojans. He has done a good job digging throws out of the dirt and knows the situations. He had a sacrifice RBI in the second game against Fowler.
JV
Caleb Wagner - Caleb had a great day at the plate against Rye on Thursday. He had two hits off the wall, and has been working hard on getting his swing down. Caleb has also worked hard to adjust to first base defensively.
