Homemade rolls and butter from the high school food science class!

Mr. Vigil’s 8th grade Social Studies class has been learning about the colonization of America starting with the Jamestown settlement in 1607. They built replicas of the Fort at Jamestown as an arts and crafts extension project.

JH/HS Art Classes are working on the seven elements of art - line, shape, form, color, value, texture and space.

Mrs. Koch’s Otero Political Science Class is exploring the foundations of American Government. They discussed some key philosophers whose ideas have led to significant developments in American governance. With this project, students took those ideas further to analyze them based on strengths, weaknesses, and how they would interpret some of those key ideas.
