The girls basketball team would like to recognize the Cadenas-Ayala siblings as their managers. They show up ready to go and seem to be 1 step ahead of the coaches. Student-managers are an important part of the team and we appreciate Luis and Lia!

JH/HS HECTOR of the Week:
JH - Dallus Purcell -Dallus has shown a lot of maturity and takes responsibility for his actions in a positive way. He works hard in class. He is very coachable and respectful with his teachers. He helps his peers whenever he can. He is always punctual by being to school early. Dallus has shown HECTOR all over Las Animas Junior High.
HS - Alayna Hudson. She's grown in maturity, determination, and initiative. She's making sure all her work is high quality and turned in on time. Although she is quiet, she shows tolerance and kindness to her peers.
Staff - The Kitchen staff as our Hector of the week. The Kitchen staff has had a lot of changes this year from serving breakfast differently to having new staff. You all have worked really hard at what you do and I want to let you know you are appreciated for all you do for the students and staff. (not pictured: Brenden Garcia)

Jr. High Girls Wrestling Update: on Thursday Dec. 5, the JH girls wrestling dual with Rocky Ford will now be Tuesday Dec. 3 at Rocky Ford. 4:30 pm start.
