Congratulations Mr. Montoya and Mrs. Armstrong for being selected "Staff HECTOR of the Month for August!" For the month of August I would like to recognize Mr. Montoya. He is a great example of what it means to be HECTOR. His Respect for students allows him opportunities to build relationships, and be a trusted adult they can rely on. His smile, personality, and Optimism make the days and weeks much brighter. Mr. Montoya displays Excellence in all of his coaching and volunteering. You will always see him supporting our Trojans! In the classroom, Mr. Montoya takes the new skills he learns at PD and tries to implement them as soon as possible. He asks questions when he doesn't quite understand, and accepts feedback. His ability to be Coachable has created an environment students love to be in. Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. Keep on smiling! Mrs. Armstrong has jumped into a new position and is working hard to engage students and give them the best experience. She continues to make improvements to the systems in place and work toward excellence. Keep up the great work, Mrs. Armstrong.

HECTOR of the Week JH - Kadence Miller -She has shown great maturity this year. She works very hard in class. She has a very positive attitude and is a pleasure to have in class. She also works very hard on the volleyball court. She is an excellent addition to our school and she shows HECTOR all around school! HS - Armando Varela is extremely respectful and he works hard in academics as well as sports. He is a true role model for his peers. Staff - Mr. Legario as staff HECTOR of the week. His passion for math has helped our students understand challenging concepts, and he does a great job relating topics to the "real-world". He truly cares about student success!
