What is the purpose of the Trojan Alumni Association?
- The purpose of the Trojan Alumni Association is to give graduating senior(s) a scholarship to be used to further their education beyond high school.
Are there eligibility requirements to receive a scholarship?
- There are two eligibility requirements. One is that the graduating student must have attended school in Las Animas from Kindergarten through Twelfth grade without interruption. The second is that they must attend a college or university to further their education.
Who may join the Trojan Alumni Association?
- Any graduate of Bent County High School or Las Animas High School.
What do I get out of it?
- Members of the Trojan Alumni receive free admission to the homecoming volleyball game, the homecoming football game, and a 1/2 price ranch burger ticket (Santa Fe Trail Day). Members are also given the opportunity to read and vote for the scholarship winner.
